Midsummer pixels, sustainable design stories, är namnet på den installation som just nu finns i lobbyn på Nordic Light Hotel i Stockholm. Aia Jüdes och Sanna Gebeyehu är duon bakom den färgsprakande installationen med miljövänliga förtecken. På golvet bitar av heltäckningsmattor från företaget Interface Floor i alla nyanser som böljar över golvet. möbler från familjeföretaget Mitab och klädsel från Bogesunds Väveri, Lampor från Green Furniture Sweden. Duktiga Lise-Marie, som gjort en speciell serie bänkar och fåtöljer från döende och fällda almar i Stockholm, höll också ett föredrag med en hyllning till Stockholms almar, under det seminarium som föregick vernissagen den 11 maj.
A colourful version of sustainable design stories is to be seen these coming weeks at the Nordic Light Hotel Lobby in Stockholm, where the productive and talented duo Aia Jüdes and Sanna Gebeyehu have invited some companies and designers with great care for our environment to take part in their installation called Midsummer Pixels. The exhibition opened on May 11, in connection with a seminar on sustainability and design stories the same afternoon. Among the speakers designer Lies-Marie Hoffman with an hommage to the Elm Trees of Stockholm She has also made a series of furniture made from the fallen down dead Elm Trees. Good initiative.
