What we really feel is still missing, is a good overview in English over contemporary Swedish Design. That is why we are now about to create a new open source web site featuring current Swedish designers, companies and products. It is a collaboration between Svensk Form and Centrum för Näringslivshistoria, and thus will not only a tool for the present users and readers, but also available for future references and research. The first page is planned for launch in December this year. Richard Prime, already an initiated blogger / writer within the design, fashion and trend field. His passion for contemporary Swedish design will come in handy for this project and we are very happy to work with Richard. Who, by the way, is one of the few English natives who has learnt to speak Swedish in only two years here, despite all of us automatically addressing him in English with him.

Key Persons for the new web site over contemporary Swedish Design: Annika Grome Aschberg, project manager of Centrum för Näringslivshistoria and Richard Prime, editor for the web site from Svensk Form

Krister Hillerud vice president of Centrum för Näringslivshistoria explains the technical platform of the digital archive at CfN to our editor Richard Prime and the rest of us

Welcome to Nacka Strand
