Vauxhall flower market

Swedish passion, lust and heat - far from the cool, minimalistic and reserved image of Swedish design and lifestyle - is the more sensual approach that curator Aia Jüdes wishes to achieve when she plans for an installation in the Swedish Ambassador's residence in connection with the Design Festival week in September in London. Gunnar Kaj is one of the 6-7 artists that she has chosen to work on this theme. Gunnar, an illustrator and artist, mostly known for making all the amazing flower arrangements at the yearly Nobel dinner. Aia and Gunnar joined us in London, and of course we had to start off very early in the morning after the party to check out the flower market of Vauxhall.

Conceptual discussion with Gunnar Kaj and Aia Jüdes. Below some snapshots from the Flower market in Vauxhall in the early morning, where Gunnar made some new important contacts.
